The LifeWIRE platform is a patent pending mobile, two-way interactive e-health & behavior management solution. Individuals can use, or providers and case managers can direct, using text messaging, email or IVR based interactions which are customized to track, monitor and engage users to improve their health status or achieve other important health goals. LifeWIRE is an "off the shelf" HIPAA compliant solution that uses an individual or patient's own cell phone, along with a web-enabled interface, to create interactions, schedule, monitor and analyze results. OUR RESEARCH
We are very pleased to have been involved in a number of studies that have resulted in White Papers on patient engagement. Outlined below are a sample of the papers that have been completed and available for public review and comment:
LifeWIRE Pathway Outcomes: This is a paper on the outcomes resulting from our work with Wounded Warriors suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The paper was based on The Pathway Home data and outcomes based on a project facilitated by the Altarum Institute. It is in the process of being independently peer reviewed.
LifeWIRE Clinical Interface: This is a paper outlining a tool developed by LifeWIRE addressing the need for immediate analysis and feedback for clinicians and treatment staff.

The mHealth Alliance and Rockefeller Foundation launched the Top 11 in 2011 Innovators Challenge, celebrating innovators with experience in original, scalable, and transformative mHealth work. The nominations came pouring in from more than 30 countries around the world, and
LifeWIRE founder, Howard Rosen, is honored to have been selected as one of 30 Finalists (the only one in North America).

Howard Rosen will be a speaker at the 2012 Annual HIMSS Conference to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada February 23, 2012 which will be a continuing education offering in joint sponsorship between HIMSS 2012 and the Post Graduate Institute for Medicine (PIM).
Howard will be a speaker at the inaugural "US - Canada Healthcare Information Technology Summit" taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 7 - 8, 2012. This Summit is a joint conference through the Consulate General of Canada in Buffalo and HIMSS (Western Pennsylvania Chapter). He will be presenting on "Improving Care Through Innovation" and taking past in an interactive panel discussion on the use of social media in effective health management.
Howard Rosen, LifeWIRE, is working as the Chair, mHealth, with OCADUniversity President Sara Diamond, PhD, for a strategy paper for the Province of Ontario mobile Health Technology for the Taking Ontario Mobile (TOM) Project. . Howard also chaired a roundtable discussion to shape the recommendations of the Taking Ontario Mobile Project and provide invited members an opportunity to contribute perspective on how Ontario can utilize mobile technologies to better meet the needs of residents in their daily activities: at home, at work and in the community.

Life:WIRE Corp and Banyan Group, Inc. launched a text messaging clinical study with the Hazelden Foundation. Hazelden, is a private, not-for-profit alcohol and drug addiction treatment center, launched a clinical research study to measure the effectiveness of therapeutic, text-messages to support the organization’s recovery management efforts.
